- The Ctrl C command (Enter Path to COMMAND.COM) in SAS and
- the [pathspec] trialing parameter in ArcView were added because I
- have been so busy writing SAS that I have not had time to figure
- out how to interrogate the environment. I plan for future
- versions to take care of this.

- SAS101.ARC is replacing SAS10.ARC. It didn't take long for
- bugs to crop up. SAS 1.01 fixes a bug in handling numbered
- directories. I don't have 123 so I never thought about that.
- The fix was easy (about 5 minutes). Another omission has been
- pointed out : SAS changes the date on files copied to the current
- date. I don't have a quick fix for this, so look for SAS 1.1 in
- the near future. I will also try to make it compatible with
- Hercules and MDA in that version.

- SAS102.ARC replaces earlier versions. Copy Tagged Files no
- longer changes the file date when copying. I also fixed a bug in
- Find File. It wouldn't find a file in the last directory on the
- disk tree. Now to tackle Hercules and MDA adapter support.

- SAS103.ARC - SAS and ArcView now support monochrome and color
- adapters. Hercules adapters must be in text mode for SAS and
- ArcView to work properly. Bugs fixed in this release are :
-
- X - Execute Program now may be exited with Escape.
-
- F2/PgUp to continue a file search was a typo. It is now
- corrected to F2/PgDn.
-
- The file cursor was changed from a reverse video bar to two
- triangular graphics characters which bracket the filename. Tagged
- files are now displayed in reverse video. This was done to eliminate
- contrast problems in monochrome mode.

-
- SAS11.ARC - SAS now tries to locate COMMAND.COM by looking for
- COMSPEC in the environment. The CTRL C command which allowed setting
- of the path to COMMAND.COM has been eliminated since it is no longer
- needed. Also added the "/m" command line switch so that people using
- monochrome monitors with color adapters can specify the monochrome
- color scheme.
